[PvP Article] Health Degeneration
The chart below can be used to compare the effectiveness of various health degeneration spells by contrasting the spells' health per second loss rate and health per energy loss rate. The chart does not factor in the spell being removed early, things that lengthen the longevity of the spell (mantra of persistence, +1 (20%) mods, etc.), or extra effects of the spell (damage on use or removal, extra effects on the target, or benefitial effects on the caster)

soon to be added - a chart focusing mainly on ranger skills (preperations, traps) which will be tough for preps considering the application of, say, bleeding, on hit.
maybe - a chart focusing on spell inflicted conditions (rotting flesh). if there are not enough to constitute for a chart, they will be added to the spell degeneration chart.

yeah, and reapers mark is basically free. you get energy when it ends, wether it's been removed or not
to be added by the end of this weekend-
charts for-
mantra of persistence bonus's
ranger preperations
ranger degen skills (poison arrow, etc)
ranger traps
another column showing the reapplication rate and health loss per minute on the charts

False. You gain energy only when the target DIES, not when the hex is removed.

Nice chart. Man, Reaper's Mark is just a beast. One thing you might do is instead of doing 12/16, put in the actual breakpoints of the last two degen arrows, or one if the range of degen is small. That would clean up the chart a little and make the attribute points required a little more clear.

Pshh, Reaper's Mark isn't that good when you look at the chart, Suffering on 8 people would likely give you even more damage/energy spent!

I still don't think Reaper's needs a big nerf though, considering it's an elite in SR and doesn't do really anything but degen to the target (it gives you energy if target dies, but out of RA that's not that easy to achieve, and with that high SR you don't actually care much about Reaper's giving energy, SR already gives you so much). Investing 14 attributes in SR seriously limits what you can do with the rest of the build. I could see it reduced to 25s duration, which would more or less only weaken it in RA where it's not removed most of the time, but not a much bigger nerf than that.
